Drake Relays

Our 4x100 and 1600 med relay team both made it to drake relays. Making it to the drake relays for the 1600 med relay team was a big deal because we had to qualify. We were the only Des Moines middle school to qualify for that event. We also beat our own middle school record which was a good accomplishment.

For those of y'all that don't know what the 1600 med relay is let me tell you. The first two people run a 200, which is half of the track. Then the second leg or person passes the baton to the third person who will run a 400 which is one time around the track. Then the third leg passes the baton to the last leg that runs a 800 which is 2 times around the track.

It hards to see because the computer is tweaking but it says merrill ms which is the middle school i went to and the time we got was 4 minutes and 21 seconds. You already know we had to show them whats up you feel me. Our 4x100 team also won 1dt place overall with a time of 52.42
